Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the Sporium website or place an order through our South African online store.
1. About Sporium
Sporium supplies traceable gourmet and specialty mushroom genetics, including agar cultures and grain spawn, through sporium.co.za. Customer support is available at thesporium@gmail.com.
2. Products
Our cultures and spawn are living biological materials. Product photographs and descriptions are intended to identify the strain and format supplied, but normal biological variation can occur. Successful cultivation depends on factors outside Sporium's control, including sterile technique, substrate, temperature, humidity, equipment and handling.
3. Ordering and availability
Products shown on the website are offered subject to availability. After payment, Sporium checks stock and any production requirements. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and provide the appropriate refund or other remedy.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR). Delivery is calculated separately and shown before checkout is completed. Online payments are processed through Paystack's secure checkout. Sporium does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
5. Shipping and fulfilment
Courier delivery is subject to our Shipping Policy. Courier estimates do not include any time required to prepare or produce living products before dispatch.
6. Customer information
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information. We use the information supplied during checkout to process payment, fulfil the order, arrange delivery, provide order updates and support the transaction.
7. Lawful use
You agree to use products purchased from Sporium lawfully and responsibly. You are responsible for confirming that your intended cultivation activities comply with any laws, regulations or restrictions that apply to you.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Website use and intellectual property
The Sporium name, branding, website design, product imagery and original site content may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except where permitted by law.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights where South African law does not permit that limitation. Subject to those rights, Sporium is not responsible for cultivation outcomes or losses caused by factors outside our reasonable control or by storage, handling or cultivation contrary to appropriate practice.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page will show its effective date. These terms and transactions through the Sporium store are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
